An anti austerity rally took place in Fort William’s Cameron Square on Saturday.
Billed Lochaber Against Cuts, the event was organised by Marie MacPherson, a volunteer at Lochaber Food Bank.
She said the aim was to raise awareness of the upcoming changes in the benefit system.
“We had about eight speakers who spoke about how the vulnerable and disabled people in society will be hit by this,” she added.
Three Fort William women, Rhona Grant, Libby Turner and Caly Moore, took part in a sponsored head shave and raised £600 for the Lochaber Food Bank, Lochaber Hope and the Lindsey Garrett Charity.
