Two people have been taken to hospital following a serious three vehicle crash.
Police said the A82 Inverness to Glasgow road will remain closed four miles north of Crianlarich for several hours.
A spokeswoman said: “Two cars and a van were involved in a serious road traffic collision on the A82 between Tyndrum and Crianlarich, near the River Fallon at 3.30pm.
“Two people have been taken to hospital, one by helimed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow and one by road ambulance to Forth Valley Royal at Larbert.
“The road is likely to remain closed for several hours for a crash scene investigation to take place.”
A 50-mile diversion via the Rest and Be Thankful on the A83 Tarbet to Campbeltown road is in place.
