The body was discovered at Raigmore Hospital in Inverness
A 25-year-old Sutherland man has died in hospital after being found injured in his home.
Bricklayer Martin Mackenzie, of Muirfield Road, Brora, was taken by air ambulance to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness on Wednesday in a critical condition.
He died in hospital yesterday.
Police said that the death was being treated as “non-suspicious”
Mr Mackenzie stayed with his partner and their young daughter in the Sutherland village.
Yesterday. several friends posted online messages of sympathy on social networking sites.
The former Golspie High School pupil, also known as “Chip”, was described as a popular and down-to-earth man by his pals.
