Lochaber mountain rescuers called to help walkers at night

A party of hillwalkers had to be escorted down the slopes of Ben Nevis last night.

Lochaber Mountain Rescue Team was called out at 10.40pm to help the group after they got into difficulty on their descent.

The party comprised two men aged 57 and 25, and three woman aged, 27, 23 and 22.

There is no further detail at present.
