The BBC has unveiled the sixth contestant to take part in Strictly Come Dancing 2015.
BBC Weather presenter Carol Kirkwood, from Morar Inverness shire said she was excited about taking part.
She admitted she had a soft spot for Strictly dancer Aljaž Skorjanec.
The 53-year-old, Â is the main weather presenter on BBC Breakfast – she is also a regular contributor on BBC1’s The One Show.
She joins BBC Proms star Katie Derham, former Coronation Street actress Georgia May Foote, EastEnders star Kellie Bright, TV chef Ainsley Harriott and BBC host Jeremy Vine on the 13th series of the Saturday night dance contest.
Ex-Coronation Street star Georgia May Foote, is the bookies’ favourite to win the dance show with odds currently sitting at  5/1.
TV chef Ainsley Harriott, is at 10/1, while BBC host Jeremy Vine, and EastEnders star Kellie Bright are outsiders at 20/1.
A Call the Midwife star is also rumoured to be joining the 13th series of the show which starts in September.
Producers will hope to topple ITV’s The X Factor in the ratings war after pulling in more than 10 million viewers for last year’s final.
The shows will go head to head once again this year, and follows Strictly dominance when they managed to achieve viewing figures of more than 10m for last year’s final – a million more than the X Factor.
