Two people have been taken to hospital after a car and a 4X4 collided on the Inverness to Perth road, south of Dalwhinnie. One casualty has been taken by air to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee, while another has been transferred by ambulance to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness. A police spokesman said neither of the casualties were thought to be seriously injured. The accident happened at around 12.45pm and the road was closed for 90 minutes, resulting in lengthy tailbacks around where the collision happened. Fire crews from Newtonmore, Kingussie and Aviemore also attended the incident.
