Police are investigating after a man on a bicycle was alleged to have been assaulted in Dingwall on Sunday.
The incident is reported to have happened at around 6.55pm on the Ross-shire town’s High Street.
Police are appealing for information on a male suspect, who is thought to be in his mid-20s.
At the time of the incident he was wearing a white top and blue jeans.
Police say the male cyclist victim, who is in his 30s, suffered a minor injury to his head.
A spokesman for the force said: “Anyone who witnesses the incident or has any information is encouraged to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
