A main north road has been closed after a car landed on its roof after an accident.
The A82 Inverness to Fort William road has been blocked in both directions around three miles north of Drumnadrochit after the accident, which happened at around 1.10pm.
Fire crews from Inverness and Beauly, as well as a specialist rescue unit, were sent to the scene after reports that the car had landed on its roof.
However, they were stood down after it became clear that nobody was in need of rescue.
A police spokeswoman confirmed that nobody had been injured in the accident but said that the road would remain closed for the car to be recovered.
