The Highlands will strike a pose next month as the region’s fledgling fashion week returns for a fourth glamorous year.
And this year a special celebrity has been lured north to be guest of honour at the final event.
Reality TV star Joey Essex will be at the Hi Flock exhibition in Inverness.
Mr Essex, who is most famous for his appearances on television show The Only Way Is Essex, will meet young fans at the Ironworks on Sunday, October 11 from 11am-4pm.
The exhibition, which will boast a number of local and national beauty and fashion businesses, as well as food and drink companies, will also feature a unique seminar with well-known YouTube vloggers.
The fashion week, which features five separate events showcasing local and national fashion designers worn by local models, was set up to help bring new talent into the Scottish fashion industry, and highlight the range of talents throughout the area.
Garry James, director of Highland Fashion Week, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be welcoming Joey Essex to Highland Fashion Week and we cannot wait for him to share his thoughts on fashion and celebrity with us at our exhibition event.
“By engaging with a younger audience for this specific event, we have managed to cover a wide range of events ensuring we have something for everyone. Young people are extremely active on social media so we will incorporate YouTube and Instagram to the events.
“I believe it’s important to celebrate the local and national fashion designers Scotland boasts and putting on events like Highland Fashion Week allows designers to showcase their work to a huge audience.”
Highland Fashion Week will run from Wednesday October 7 to Sunday October 11.
