Firefighters tackled a blaze in a medical centre in Fort Augustus
An oven was damaged in an overnight house fire in Nairn, while two people had to be treated for smoke inhalation.
Two fire crews from the town were called to the house on Camperdown Road at 10.20pm last night.
A spokesman for the fire service confirmed this morning that the fire had been contained to the kitchen of the property and an oven had suffered “minor heat damage”.
An ambulance service spokesman confirmed that paramedics had attended and treated two people for “minor smoke inhalation”.
They were treated at the scene and did not require to be taken to hospital.
