A Highland charity aiming to boost men’s health and wellbeing throughout the region is searching for new members.
Men’s Health Highland wants to recruit people at their upcoming Annual General Meeting being held at Inshes Church in Inverness on Friday, October 2 at 2.30pm.
This will give people the chance to meet current members and find out more about the charity.
Activities held throughout the year include public talks from health professionals that cover a number of topics, organised conferences and the chance to participate in research projects.
Members also contribute at medical meetings on the state of men’s health in the Highlands and on men’s readiness to seek advice and treatment, and the group frequently runs public stands offering blood pressure checks, height and weight measurements and general advice.
Anyone who is unable to make the AGM should contact group member Robin Stewart on robin.r.w.stewart@btinternet.com
