Police have received new sightings of a missing Australian tourist.
Lynne Radke, 53, was last seen in John O’Groats on Monday morning.
Inspector Nick Clasper, of the Wick Community Policing Team, said: “Lynne was reported missing after she failed to return as expected to the local hotel she was staying in.
“Since issuing our appeal for information yesterday we have had a good response from the public who have reported sightings of her in a variety of locations. Officers are following up on all of the sightings reported to us but we have yet to trace Lynne.
“We believe this is Lynne’s second time to the area, having visited Caithness a number of years ago. She is an experienced traveller and may have travelled outwith the Caithness area.
“We are keen to make contact with her to establish that she is fine. If anyone has seen her I would ask that they call us on 101 with details.”
She is described as 5ft 2in tall, medium build with a tanned complexion.
She has curly brown/red hair and brown eyes. Ms Radke might be wearing glasses and a red jacket.
However she also has a distinctive tattoo on her arm, including colourful images of a bird and an eye.
She is also known to use public transport.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
