A Red Cross search team is expected to join police and possibly mountain rescue personnel in the search for a swimmer missing off Skye since Sunday.
Andrew Gordon, 54, from East Lothian, was last seen close to the shoreline at Kyleakin. He was last spoken to at about 8.45am and last spotted close to the shoreline.
He had been visiting the island for the Shoot the Goose biker rally with his family.
Police divers joined the search of an area around the Skye Bridge on Monday as part of an extensive land, air and sea search involving the Coastguard, a police dog unit and representatives from the Search and Rescue Dog Association and lifeboat crews from Kyle and Portree.
The alarm was raised at 12.30pm on Sunday by one of Mr Gordon’s relatives.
