Police are appealing for information after an “experienced and keen” mountaineer went missing whilst walking at Glencoe.
Robin Garton, who is from Wiltshire, had been staying in the area near to Buachaille Etive Mor.
The 69-year-old checked out of his accommodation at around 8am on Friday, and had plans to travel north to meet friends in the Kinlochewe area on Sunday.
But police say he failed to meet as arranged and was reported missing on Monday afternoon.
Mr Garton is described as 6ft 2, of slim to medium build and has fair hair which is slightly balding. He occasionally wears glasses.
It is not known what he was wearing, but it is believed he was hill walking in the Glencoe area.
Anyone with information should contact police on 101.
