Nobody is thought to be seriously injured in the incident but the A9 Inverness to Perth road was blocked for several hours in both directions. A police spokesman said that the incident, which happened just before 9.45am, involved two articulated lorries and two cars. The driver of the lorry is not thought to be injured but was trapped within his vehicle, while one of the car drivers has suffered minor injuries. Traffic was being diverted through Carrbridge.
