An 18-year-old who sparked a land and sea search on the Isle of Skye was found safe and well today.
Portree Lifeboat was launched at 8.26am and police and coastguards also searched the area around Portree for Cameron Milne, who had been reported missing overnight.
Police Scotland said the teenager had been “found safe and well” after an “amazing effort from the Skye community to search for him.”
Dunvegan and Portree coastguard teams were among the searchers.
Meanwhile, Mallaig Lifeboat rescued a broken down fish farm work boat at the entrance to Mallaig Harbour early yesterday.
The lifeboat was launched at 3.37am after the work boat with two people on board suffered gearbox failure. It was towed into the harbour.
