The funeral of a fisherman who died after falling overboard while working off Wester Ross is to be held in his home village on Thursday.
And his family have said any donations will go to the Fishermen’s Mission.
Gary Forbes, of Aultbea, was one of two crew on the Castlebay-registered creel boat, Barnacle, when the incident happened near the Summer Isles at around 10.40am on Tuesday May 13.
The 36-year-old was recovered from the water by his workmate.
Mr Forbes was engaged to Catherine Sutherland, who works in Aultbea Stores.
He attended Gairloch High School and Telford College in Edinburgh before becoming a fisherman. It is understood the Barnacle usually works out of Aultbea and Gairloch.
His funeral is to be held the Free Church in Aultbea at 1pm and then at Laide Cemetery.
A police spokesman said inquires into the incident were continuing with assistance from the Marine Accident Investigation Branch and Coastguard.
He added that a report had been submitted to the fiscal.
