Two men have been rescued from a Highland river after falling from a canoe.
Both have been taken to hospital after being reported in difficulty in the River Garry near Invergarry just before 12.30pm.
One of the two men managed to guide himself to the shore whilst the second man was carried downstream before being taken aboard the Royal Navy helicopter Rescue 177.
Police, coastguard and the ambulance service all attended the incident, along with firefighters from Fort Augustus and Drumnadrochit.
Both of the men have been taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness, one by ambulance and the other airlifted by helicopter from the scene.
A police spokesman said their current condition is unknown.
