A north police division has become an online hit with a social media message about a drugs find.
Lochaber and Skye officers decided to tweet on the beat after a seizure of cocaine, gathering nearly 3,000 retweets and hundreds of new followers as of last night.
The original post read: “If you get back to your house tonight on #Skye and realise your cocaine is missing – we have it in the police station #WeNeedAWord.”

The force kept the comedic tone after it was suggested that they had occidentally raided a dental surgery and recovered painkillers, not Class A drugs.
They responded: “wondered what that fancy chair was for. Our bad….”
