The A9 has been partially blocked in Caithness this morning after a car overturned. Police said the accident happened at about 8.35am to the north of Latheron on the Inverness to Thurso road. A spokesman for the force said that nobody was injured but the car has overturned and landed on its side, blocking one carriageway. He added that the vevicle is due to be recovered. Meanwhile a man has been airlifted to ARI after crashing near New Pitsligo. A car overturned on a north-east road. And a van and car crashed on north-east road.
