Joe Smith, 23, lived in Kinlochleven but was originally from Lancashire and Simon Davidson, 34, from Edinburgh. A report was received around 4.25pm on Saturday from other climbers on the hill. Glencoe Mountain Rescue Team attended and recovered the men from the hill who had both sadly died. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal. A police statement said: “Members of the public and Mountain Rescue team are thanked for their efforts during this incident. “The families of Mr Smith and Mr Davidson request privacy to grieve at this difficult time. “
