Osmond Pearson was killed after his Mazda 6 was involved in an accident on the A832 Tore to Muir of Ord road at about 5.30pm on Tuesday. The collison also involved a black Volkswagen Golf and a Toyota Hilux. Mr Pearson, 37, died at the scene as a result of his injuries. The 40-year-old driver of the Golf remains in Raigmore Hospital in Inverness in a serious but stable condition. The male driver of the Hilux was uninjured. A police spokesman said: “All three vehicles were recovered from the scene, with the road closed for several hours with local diversions in place. “As part of ongoing inquiries, police would urge anyone who witnessed the collision and hasn’t yet been in touch to make contact via 101.”
