Huge waves have sent debris flying across Oban’s promenade.
Piles of seaweed brought in by the high tide and 100mph winds were left lying along Corran Esplanade on the A85 Oban to Perth road.
Bear Scotland had operatives out this morning clearing the road, as waves crashed against parked cars.
A spokeswoman for Bear said: “Coastal flooding had affected the route in this area however the tide has now subsided and teams have worked to clear debris from the carriageway. The road is passable with care.”
Trains between Oban and Glasgow were cancelled this morning and most ferry sailings between Oban and the islands are either cancelled or disrupted.
