A police spokeswoman said the incident had happened near the entrance to Glencoe Ski Centre on the A82 Inverness to Glasgow road. Emergency services are at the scene just now, with the fire service having first been notified at about 8.45am. The road is currently closed in both directions. It is not known if anyone has suffered injuries in the incident. A van has also left the road in the area. Police have said that due to strong winds the A82 is closed to all vehicles apart from cars between Glencoe and Rannoch Moor. A spokeswoman said it would fully reopen once deemed safe. A diversion is in place for all other traffic via the A85 and A882 between Tyndrum, Oban and Ballachulish. Elsewhere on the A82, a landslide north of Spean Bridge has been cleared. The road was partially blocked since about 5.30am after boulders landed on the road.
