Highland phone lines brought down in car crash

Phone lines have been brought down in a road collision in Badenoch and Strathspey.

The accident happened on the B970 between Boat of Garten and Nethy Bridge at about 10.30am.

One car was involved and nobody was injured.

However, a police spokesman said that BT communication lines had been brought down and are now across the road.

The road is currently closed with police officers in attendance.

BT engineers are also expected to arrive at the scene.
