It is clear at this stage if anyone has been injured in the incident on Creag Meagaidh to the north-east of Spean Bridge. Coastguard helicopter Rescue 951 has been sent to the area carrying members of Lochaber Mountain Rescue Team. They have been diverted from a search of Ben Nevis for missing climbers Tim Newton and Rachel Slater. A police spokesman said that members of Cairngorm Mountain Rescue Team could also be sent to the area.
