Sandra Bruce kicked, stamped and jumped on the defenceless former paramedic at their home on Skye in February 2014. Norman Bruce, 64, suffered multiple injuries to his face, as well as 20 rib fractures and extensive bruising. Bruce, 61, was jailed for life at the High Court in Glasgow last June after a jury found her guilty of murder. The case will call at the Court of Criminal Appeal in Edinburgh on Friday.
