The accident happened on the A833 between Kiltarlity and Drumnadrochit at about 8.45am. She has been described as being in a “stable condition” by an ambulance spokesman who said she was being taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness. A police spokeswoman said that the accident had caused debris to be spread over the road. Firefighters were called to the incident and helped make the scene safe. Meanwhile on the Black Isle, a car crashed off the B9163 on the Cromarty side of Jemimaville and ended up on the shoreline. A police spokeswoman said nobody had been injured in the incident.
