Police in Wick are appealing for information after two men ran away without paying a substantial taxi fare.
Two men ordered a local taxi between Wick and Berriedale and on arriving at their destination at Newport on Sunday evening they made off without paying.
The men were described as around 5’10 and 5’8 in height, in their thirties and spoke with Liverpudlian and Glaswegian accents.
