Oban Mountain Rescue Team was called into action alongside the Police Scotland Mountain Rescue team on Sunday night when a walker became trapped in a blizzard at the top of a mountain.
The man had climbed Beinn a’Chreachain near Bridge of Orchy with his dog when the weather closed in.
Sergeant Alan Moore of Oban Police Station said: “The call came in at 5.25pm. It was a man who got into trouble with the weather closing in when he got to the summit.
“It was blizzard conditions and he was unable to make his way back down the mountain.
“Oban Mountain Rescue Team, Police Scotland Mountain Rescue Team and the Search and Rescue Helicopter from Prestwick all attended.
“He was located at the top of the hill and was walked down by the mountain rescue teams.”
