Firefighters cut a person free from the wreckage of a car following an accident which closed the A82 Fort William to Inverness road during the rush hour yesterday afternoon.
The crash, involving a single vehicle, happened soon after 4.30pm a couple of miles south of Spean Bridge.
A police spokesman said the road reopened after about an hour, but was closed again for a short while for recovery of the vehicle.
He added that no one was hurt in the accident.
A fire service spokesman said two appliances from Fort William and one from Spean Bridge attended the incident.
He said: “Crews used hydraulic cutting gear to release a person who was trapped in the car.”
He added that firefighters then remained at the scene to make the vehicle safe.
