Snow sports resorts in the Highlands enjoyed a bumper Easter weekend as the holiday period coincided with a late arrival of the white stuff.
There was plenty of snow around for skiing and snowboarding at Glencoe, Cairngorm and Nevis Range.
Angela Dingwall, manager at Glencoe, said: “Friday was a horrible wet day, but it was better on Saturday with fresh snow showers.
“The weather is a bit unpredictable, but snow is forecast for the next couple of days and I think we will have a busy Easter Monday.”
Shona Bell, office manager at Nevis Range, said: “We have been very busy. The snow has been okay and we had some fresh snow during the last couple of days, which has been lovely.
“We have also had good snow back down to the top station, so whether you are a walker or skier, you get to see the snow.”
The Nevis Range in Lochaber welcomed 1,400 people each day on Saturday and Sunday.
Cairngorm Mountain also enjoyed a busy Easter Sunday after a slow start to the weekend when it was too busy for skiers and snowboarders and tourists had to make do with sledging.
Janette Jansson said: “The weather on Saturday was a bit windy and wet, but Sunday has been sunny and dry. We have been busy, so we are really pleased. There are good conditions.”
The Lecht and Glenshee in Aberdeenshire didn’t have enough snow to open their runs.
