Police are appealing to members of the public to help trace a missing man from Glasgow who recently travelled to Ross-shire, following concerns being expressed for his welfare.
Brian Roberts, 47, was last seen in Alness at about 7pm on Sunday, March 20, having travelled up to the area on March 17.
Police believe that Mr Roberts may have returned to the Glasgow area, but are keen to trace his whereabouts.
He is described as 5ft 9ins, of medium build, with grey hair and walks with a slight limp. When last seen he was wearing a black “puffa” jacket, black jeans and a grey cardigan.
Anyone with information or who believes they may have seen Mr Roberts should contact police on 101.
Meanwhile, officers are appealing for information to help trace a missing 43-year-old man from the south of England who may be in Caithness.
It is believed that Justin Brightwell Smith, who is originally from Yeovil in Somerset, may have travelled to the Thurso area.
He is described as 5ft 11ins tall, of a thin build with shaved cropped brown hair which is shaved short on the sides.
Details of what Mr Smith is wearing are unknown. Anyone with information or who believes they may have seen him are asked to contact police on 101.
