Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward following a reported assault in a supermarket car park in Ross-shire.
The incident took place between 8pm and 8.45pm on Tuesday in the Asda car park in Tain, and involved two boys, both aged 11, being allegedly threatened by two older teenage boys.
Police said the teenagers then left the area in a grey coloured Vauxhall Astra or similar vehicle.
One of the younger boys was apparently pushed to the ground by an older boy but was uninjured.
