Police have launched a search operation for a woman missing in Easter Ross.
Concerns have been raised over Elizabeth Murray, from Balintore, who was last seen in the Shandwick beach area near Balintore around 8.50am this morning.
The 61-year-old is described as around 5’3, of very slim build, with shoulder length brown/greying curly hair. Her current clothing is unknown.
Police are currently carrying out searches in areas around Balintore with assistance from the UK Coastguard.
Portmahomack and Dornoch Coastguard Rescue Teams, along with the Invergordon RNLI all weather lifeboat are currently assisting with the search.
