The three-vehicle crash happened shortly after 7pm on Thursday on the A9 Inverness to Thurso road on the outskirts of Thurso. A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said one person was killed in the accident. The road is closed in both directions at the crash site for a police investigation.
