Four people needed hospital treatment after a suspected gas leak that forced the evacuation of a Highland hotel early this morning.
A total of 90 guests were ushered out of the Carrbridge Hotel at just after 5am.
The four casualties were taken by ambulance to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness where police said they were treated for the effects of exposure to suspected carbon monoxide poisoning.
No-one else required medical assistance.
No details of the four casualties have been released by NHS Highland.
It is understood that the fire service has given the all-clear since checking the property in the aftermath of the drama.
New arrivals have since checked in as normal.
Emergency services, Highland Council representatives and heating engineers attended and a full investigation was launched into the circumstances.
