He once famously spent a life-changing year on a Scottish island.
Now TV presenter Ben Fogle has revealed he is interested in another Highland hideaway – and is hoping it will be third time lucky, having been thwarted in buying at least two other Scottish isles previously.
Fogle took to Twitter to declare his interest in Rudh-A-Chruidh off Scotland’s west coast.
Tweeting a picture of Rudh-A-Chruidh near Oban in Argyll – and the estate agent’s advert – Fogle wrote:”‘ll tell you what I want, what I really really want *spoken like the spice girls* #zigazagah.”

Followers urged him to buy it.
Kate Bishop wrote:”do it! Life’s too short,” while Joyce Whittleton added “green with envy love place.”
For the asking price of £950,000 Fogle won’t have to deal with noisy neighbours, or anyone in fact.
Rudh-A-Chruidh is linked to the bigger isle of Kerrera by a causeway at low tide.
Andrew Perratt, head of Savills residential said this island is a ‘rare opportunity’.
“Rudh-A-Chruidh sits proudly above Oban Bay on the west coast, with breathtaking views of the Sound of Kerrera and beyond.
“Not only are the interiors stylish, and the house and grounds beautifully designed, opportunities to enjoy sailing, fishing, the countryside and its amazing wildlife are endless.”
A spokeswoman added that it only went on the market in the past two weeks and that there had already been “a lot of interest.” But she declined to reveal if that included Mr Fogle.
Fogle rose to fame on Taransay in the BBC series Castaway 2000.
Fogle, 42, has an attachment to Scottish islands – most famously trying to buy Taransay.
He also tried to buy the craggy isle of Ailsa Craig off the Ayrshire coast.
His daughter is called Iona after the Scottish island.
A spokeswoman for Ben Fogle said:”Ben’s love of Scottish islands is well known – watch this space.”
