A fire service spokesman said the blaze at Polnish, between Arisaig and Lochailort, was burning in two separate areas. He added that one pump from Fort William was sent to the scene when they received a call about the incident just after 3pm. As the fire spread, two further appliances were called in from Fort William and Acharacle.
