A musician booked to appear at Loopallu will give a dual performance at this year’s festival.
As well as performing with his band, The Wonder Stuff, Miles Hunt will also appear at the festival Literally Literary tent, organised by Ullapool Book Festival.
He is the first guest announced for the event and will be interviewed by broadcaster and musician Mark Radcliffe.
Mr Hunt is due to release his second book ‘The Wonder Stuff Diaries ’90-93’.
His first book ‘The Wonder Stuff Diaries ’86-89’, released last year, has been heralded as setting a new bar for music biographies.
The book festival’s Literally Literary tent started at Loopallu in 2014.
Previous guests have included Christopher Brookmyre, Louise Welsh, King Creosote, Vic Galloway, Kevin MacNeil, Alan Bissett, Doug Johnstone and Mairi Hedderwick.
