A 41 year old former Muir of Ord man was reported to police by his wife after she discovered child pornography on his computer.
Inverness Sheriff Court heard yesterday that William Jamieson, now of 12 Pumpgate Street, Inverness had several hundred still and video images, some of the most obscene category, on two computers and a hard drive.
They had been downloaded at his then home at 1 Easter Urray Cottages, Muir of Ord between September 21, 2009 and May 10, 2013.
Others had been deleted but discovered when experts examined his computer equipment, fiscal Roderick Urquhart told Sheriff Margaret Neilson.
Sentence was deferred until July 1 for a background report and he was placed on the Sex Offender’s Register.
