The female pedestrian sustained fatal injuries following a collision with a Vauxhall car on the A87 near Sligachan Hotel at about 1.15am this morning. The male driver of the car was uninjured. The road is still closed whilst enquiries into the incident continue and police have said the road may remain closed for some time. Anyone who has information that could assist officers with their enquiries into the collision should contact Police Scotland on 101.
