The warm spell has kept Loch Ness lifeboat volunteers busy.
The RNLI lifeboat team has responded to distress calls involving a sports boat, a missing kayaker and a holiday cruiser – all missions ending successfully with everyone accounted for.
The sports boat, with five people aboard, suffered engine failure that left it adrift at the north end of the loch on Sunday.
The RNLI crew of Linda Izquierdo-Ross, Ewan Cameron and Neil Stebbings reached the craft near Lochend Beach and took her under tow to the slipway at Foyers.
Members of the Inverness Coastguard rescue team attended to help with the search and assist with recovery of the vessel.
The volunteers were paged to assist in the search for a missing kayaker on May 31 after it was reported overdue by a fellow paddler.
The RNLI lifeboat, crewed by Stuart Latham, Joy Cameron and leanne Greatrex, were joined by the Coastguard Search and Rescue helicopter from Inverness and police.
The helicopter crew spotted someone fitting the kayaker’s description at Invermoriston.
The lifeboat crew confirmed his identity and established he was fit and well.
The holiday cruiser with five people aboard suffered engine failure in the middle of the loch, near Foyers, on Thursday last week.
The boat was towed to a berthing at Foyers.
