An amateur photographer has captured stunning footage of dolphins playing in Highland waters.
The mammals, which live in the Moray Firth, are famed for their aerobatics and energetic play and lucky Alister Kemp was able to record some of their antics on the Black Isle.
Alister, who shared the footage on social media site Facebook, is well known for taking pictures at Chanonry Port at Fortrose.
He began taking pictures eight years ago and regularly takes his camera out around the port.
The area is a well known dolphin-watching spot and attracts thousands of visitors every year.
Mr Kemp told the Press and Journal the best time to see the creatures is on a rising tide, when they stray close to shore to feed.
