Fire crews extinguished the fire, which was contained to the roof, within about 40 minutes
Firefighters spent more than an hour battling a blaze that destroyed a large shed in Caithness this morning.
A fire service spokeswoman said appliances from Thurso and Wick attended the incident at Sarclet, near Thrumster, which was reported soon after 8.40am.
She said crews used two hose reel jets, two sets of breathing apparatus and a thermal imaging camera to tackle the fire, which totally destroyed the 66ft by 33ft building.
She added that the fire was under control at 9.55am and firefighters left the scene at around 10.10am.
