Emergency services were called to the scene on the A87 Invergarry to Kyle road at 4.35pm yesterday afternoon. The incident happened near the Bun Loyne junction with the A887. The fire service were called because there was a person trapped within one of the vehicles. Crews from Fort Augustus, Kyle and Drumnadrochit attended at the scene. The air ambulance also attended at the incident. A police spokeswoman added that the road was closed while emergency services worked at the scene. The incident caused significant delays on the busy route. One lane of the road was reopened to traffic shortly before 8pm.
