A nurse is to face a watchdog hearing relating to her work at a care home in Nairn.
Linda Urquhart will appear before the Nursing and Midwifery Council to face charges with regard to her work at St Olaf’s Care Centre.
Among the charges is an accusation that she told a resident “if you don’t stop shouting I’ll put you in the conservatory”.
The charges cover a period between September 3 2014 and November 5 the same year.
She is accused of not ensuring a sleep chart was put in place for a patient over that period.
She is also accused of not following a resident’s express instructions to speak to his wife or to be seen by a doctor.
While in the same resident’s presence she is alleged to have told colleagues to “ignore him” or words to that effect.
And after being told that another resident had suffered a fall she is accused of not providing prompt assistance, not performing standard examinations and not making records on the patient’s paperwork about the incident.
She will face a hearing on Tuesday, July 5 in Edinburgh, alleging that the charges amount of misconduct and that her fitness to practice is impaired as a result.
