A fisherman who died after falling overboard from a boat off Shetland has been identified as 34-year-old Scott Rennie.
The incident happened last Thursday. Mr Rennie, from Newton Stewart in Dumfries and Galloway, subsequently died in hospital.
He was recovered from the water by fellow crewmen and then airlifted to the Gilbert Bain Hospital in Lerwick by the Shetland Coastguard search and rescue helicopter after falling from the King Challenger, almost 20 miles southwest of Scalloway.
An investigation is being carried out by the Marine Accident Investigation Branch.
The King Challenger is registered in Ballantrae, Ayrshire and belongs to Kirkcudbright-based West Coast Sea Products.
