A charity which supports people with Cystic Fibrosis is hoping that hardy Highlanders will participate in its funding drive by taking a dip.
The Leanne Fund is asking people to dip their toes in the sea, a rock pool, a paddling pool or even a bath, take a picture and make a donation.
The charity’s committee kicked off the challenge with a paddle on Bayble Beach, Isle of Lewis.
To get involved take a snap of the dip, text TLFD16 to 70070 to donate £5 to The Leanne Fund and post the picture to Facebook nominating three friends to follow suit.
A spokeswoman for The Leanne Fund said: “We would love to see your pictures so please post your video or photo to our Facebook page
facebook.com/theleannefund
and or on Twitter @TheLeanneFund #dipanddonate ”
The charity is entering an exciting phase in its history having secured funding from the Big Lottery Fund for its Development Project which will see it expand services across the Highlands and Islands and Grampian.
The development project includes plans to support those affected by Cystic Fibrosis with fitness plans and equipment, counselling, complementary therapies and the administration of small grants and crisis funds.
