Police have confirmed that a body believed to be a missing Highland pensioner Roger Fletcher has been found today.
The family of Mr Fletcher, who has been missing in the area since June 5, have been informed after the body was discovered at Camas-luinie near Dornie, Lochalsh.
The 77-year-old was last seen at around 8.30am when he set off from a holiday home in Bundalloch, near Dornie, for a walk.
The alarm was raised when he failed to return.
Extensive searches of the area have been carried out by police officers, police and SARDA dogs, Kintail and RAF Mountain Rescue Teams, a Coastguard search and rescue helicopter and Coastguard ground teams.
Formal identification will now take place and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
